Welcome to the JMML Parents Group UK blog!

A group of JMML parents in the UK see a future with better outcomes for our children and better support for parents and families. Last year we took the first step to discuss the idea of JMML Parents Group for the UK. This blog marks our next step.

To start, the blog focuses on providing information on JMML from a parents perspective and sharing the pioneering UK research study.

  • Information on JMML is out there but we wanted to bring it together from a parents perspective. We have collated the information resources we have found useful as parents into one place.
  • University of Oxford and GOSH through Dr Eleni Louka and Dr Anu Rao are pioneering research in JMML in the UK. The first phase of the research has produced exciting results. We want to share this research widely and encourage parents of newly diagnosed JMML children to join the next phase of the study.
